is the first and only hair removal laser available for at-home use. Easy

delivers the same permanent results you get with professional
treatments. It will free you from the hassles of endless shaving,
waxing, ingrown hairs and razor burn.
How popular is professional laser hair removal? show more
Laser hair removal is the leading
non-surgical cosmetic procedure for women under 34 and the second most
popular non-surgical procedure for women 35 years and older, according
to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
How does the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X compare to professional systems? show more
Tria Beauty's team of scientists
revolutionized the hair removal industry in 1993 with the invention of
the first diode laser designed for in-office hair removal. The Tria Hair
Removal Laser 4X uses the same laser technology used by professionals
for in-office laser hair removal, for permanent results in the comfort
and privacy of the home, at a fraction of the cost. Tria guarantees that
you start seeing permanent results with just 2 treatments; in as few as
3 months, you could enjoy permanent freedom from the hassles of endless
shaving and waxing.
Who is the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X for? show more
The Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X is intended for use on light to medium skin tones with naturally brown or black hair. It will not work on naturally white, grey, blond, or red hair.
How is the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X powered? show more
Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X is battery
operated, but the battery is built-in and rechargeable. You don't have
to replace it. A battery charger that you plug into the wall comes with
every Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X.
Does it hurt to use the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X? show more
It's normal to feel warmth, tingling, or
itching when you use the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X. Some users describe
feeling the same level of discomfort as when a rubber band snaps against
the skin.
usage
Is my skin tone suitable for using the Tria Laser 4X? show more
The Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X is intended
for people with light to medium skin tones. Darker skin tones can absorb
too much laser light, which may injure the skin. The built-in skin
sensor will determine if at-home laser hair removal is suitable for your
skin tone.
Is my hair color suitable for using the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X? show more
The Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X is designed
to work on naturally light brown to black body hair. Because the Tria
Laser 4X works with the dark pigment in the hair, lighter hair colors
such as white, blond, red, or grey will not absorb enough of the laser's
energy to disable the hair follicle.
Can I use the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X if I am pregnant or nursing? show more
The Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X has not been
tested on pregnant or nursing women, so it's possible that hormonal
changes could increase skin sensitivity and the risk of skin injury. You
should stop using the laser until you are no longer pregnant or
breast-feeding. You should check with you doctor if you have any
questions.
Can the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X be used on men? show more
Yes, men may enjoy the same permanent results as women.
results
How long before I start seeing results? show more
In just two Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X treatments you're on your way to permanent results.
During your 3 months of treatment
- After your first treatment, there will be no visible change to the hair. Laser hair removal does not cause hair to immediately fall out.
- After your second treatment, see up to a 70%* reduction in hair re-growth.
- With additional treatments, there will be a gradual reduction in the number of hairs with each treatment.
- The hair that does regrow will also begin to lighten and become finer.
After 3 months of treatment
- Hair follicles that have been deactivated by the Tria Laser 4X will not grow back.
- Do occasional touch-ups or additional treatments if necessary.

How does the Tria Laser 4X compare with professional hair removal? show more
The FDA-cleared Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X uses
the same laser technology used by professionals for in-office laser hair
removal, to permanently remove hair in the comfort and privacy of the
home, at a fraction of the cost. It is not a heat lamp or flashlamp
device, it's a real laser proven safe and effective for use at home.
How does the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X compare with Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)? show more
Lasers produce light of a very specific
color. The Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X uses solid-state diodes to produce
810-nanometer light, which is an infrared light just beyond red in
color. This color of light was specially chosen because it is
well-absorbed by melanin (the pigment in the hair), and because it can
travel deep into the skin to the root of the hair follicle. These
features are what make the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X so effective. It
also uses a relatively long-duration pulse of laser light, which gently
heats the hair while protecting the skin.
In general, IPLs produce a broad spectrum of light. The light appears
white to the eye because it is a combination of many different colors.
Not all of these colors are equally absorbed by the melanin pigment in
the hair or travel the same distance in the skin. As a result, the
untargeted light may be absorbed in the skin and produce undesirable
skin heating, as well as being less effective for hair removal. In
addition, flashlamp devices generally operate with a relatively
short-duration light pulse, which heats the skin less gently than longer
pulses.

Do I pay tax on shipping if I'm in Canada? show more
Just about everything individuals import into Canada is subject to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) of five percent.
You will also have to pay the applicable Canadian Provincial Sales Tax
(PST) or Quebec Sales Tax (QST). The provincial retail sales tax rates
vary from province to province, as do the goods and services to which
the tax is applied and the way the tax is applied.
In Canadian provinces with a Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) (New Brunswick,
Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario and British
Columbia), you'll be charged the HST, rather than separate GST and
provincial sales tax.
